📋 Description

• Design and spearhead FranklinCovey’s enterprise data strategy.

• Oversee the entire data infrastructure lifecycle, including migration from legacy systems and the implementation of modern data warehouses.

• Convert raw data into actionable insights for Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Product.

• Establish standards for KPIs, governance frameworks, and a cohesive data operating model.

• Lead and mentor a Data & Analytics team comprising data engineers, analysts, and BI developers.

• Define the team's structure, hiring strategy, and capability development plan.

• Create and implement a roadmap to integrate data across all company systems and functions.

• Develop a comprehensive KPI and metrics framework for the organization.

• Design, construct, and maintain a reliable and scalable data warehouse.

• Manage third-party vendors and system integrators involved in the migration process.

• Ensure the continuity of downstream reports and dashboards during the platform migration.

• Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Operations to inventory source systems and document data lineage.

• Utilize AI-assisted analytics and machine learning to produce predictive insights and streamline workflows.

• Prototype solutions and define an AI roadmap that aligns with business requirements.

• Provide actionable recommendations and identify factors influencing target metrics.

• Establish data ownership, data contracts, and governance processes.

• Enhance source data quality by addressing root-cause issues in ERP and operational systems.

• Facilitate consistent reporting, performance monitoring, and future AI capabilities.

• Influence executive decision-making while reporting directly to the CFO and EVP of Operations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.

• Over 7 years of progressive experience in data engineering, analytics, or business intelligence.

• More than 5 years of experience writing Python code in a production setting.

• Familiarity with cloud computing ecosystems, preferably AWS and Snowflake.

• Understanding of machine learning models and statistical analysis.

• Experience using popular ML frameworks such as Jupyter, scikit-learn, XGBoost, and ARIMA.

• Expert-level proficiency in SQL.

• Knowledge of cloud architecture and data lakes.

• Proven experience in delivering a data warehouse from design to production within a mid-to-large enterprise environment.

• Demonstrated experience managing comprehensive data migrations, including the decommissioning of legacy systems.

• Track record of translating data into quantifiable operational improvements beyond mere reporting and dashboards.

• Demonstrated ability to apply machine learning and generative AI in a production environment.

• Skill in converting analytical outputs into clear business recommendations for non-technical audiences.

• Strong cross-functional leadership skills across operations, finance, commercial, and IT teams.

• Ability to thrive in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.

• Capability to develop ETL pipelines without the backing of a full data engineering team.

• Experience in professional services, SaaS, or subscription-based business models.

• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain machine-learning implications to non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently with minimal direction; self-starter.
