This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage daily graphic requests for various assigned AP courses, adapting to changing production priorities.
• Create technical vector graphics, maps, and illustrations that align with AP Graphics standards.
• Modify graphics for different formats and subject areas.
• Transition between courses as needed based on workload, deadlines, and coverage requirements.
• Ensure consistency in branding and accessibility.
• Contribute to the development of asset libraries, templates, and documentation across several courses.
• Resolve technical issues and workflow inquiries effectively.
• Participate in team-wide improvements to processes.
• Collaborate with content experts and production team members to address requests and design challenges.
• Quickly adapt to new subjects and production standards within tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in technical art, graphic design, and/or illustration.
• A portfolio showcasing strong vector graphic and illustration abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
• Knowledge of graphic industry standards for digital and print media, including resolution, file formats, color modes, and typography.
• Familiarity with basic mathematical concepts, including scale, angles, ratios, and percentages.
• Competent skills in photo editing.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Preferred experience with Smartsheet and/or SharePoint.
• Familiarity with AP course content is highly advantageous.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Design, Illustration, or a related discipline.
• Willingness to travel 2–4 times per year for College Board business or to their offices.
