Senior Director, Interoperability

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish the long-term vision and strategy for interoperability at Devoted.

• Convert the interoperability vision into quantifiable improvements in clinical quality, operational efficiency, and data dependability.

• Define and ensure interoperability compliance amidst a dynamic regulatory environment, including CMS-0057-F.

• Lead and expand operational teams focused on data exchange, encompassing clinical data acquisition, integration operations, and telephony.

• Coordinate Clinical, Operations, Engineering, Data, Legal, and Compliance teams while eliminating systemic obstacles.

• Develop and oversee a cohesive strategy for multi-million-dollar partnerships with vendors.

• Cultivate relationships and policies with provider and regulatory partners.

• Interpret the interoperability landscape into actionable decisions for senior leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of relevant experience.

• Proven ability to lead other leaders.

• Experience in building and scaling multi-functional organizations.

• Proficient in recruiting, coaching, and mentoring talent.

• Strong understanding of healthcare data exchange standards, including FHIR, HL7, and C-CDA.

• Familiarity with CMS Interoperability regulations, ASTP/ONC, TEFCA, and information blocking.

• Experience in health information exchange and the integration of EHR and clinical/claims/pharmacy data.

• Proven track record of delivering regulatory and compliance milestones aligned with business outcomes.

• Experience coordinating technical and operational activities across various teams.

• Ability to align multiple stakeholder groups around a unified plan.

• Experience managing and negotiating multi-million-dollar vendor relationships.

• Proficient in representing an organization’s stance with providers, regulators, and industry forums.

• Experience in creating multi-year strategic roadmaps and achieving measurable results.

• Data-driven mindset and proactive execution capabilities.

• Experience with providers, payors, or EHR systems.

• Background in EHR, health information networks, or clinical data intermediary/platforms.

• Understanding of value-based care and payment incentives from the perspective of risk-bearing providers.

• Direct experience engaging with regulatory partners and interoperability policy.

• Strong skills in financial modeling and budgeting.

• Experience managing a domain budget.
