This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Engage in intake and collaborative planning discussions with LEE personnel and partner organizations.
• Organize both in-person and virtual events for current and prospective members.
• Implement outreach strategies to boost event attendance, utilizing calls and text messages.
• Assist members in navigating LEE resources, support systems, and opportunities, including electoral and policy coaching.
• Record and monitor member engagement data through Salesforce, Tableau, Asana, and Google Sheets.
• Evaluate event outcomes and submit findings into LEE systems within five business days.
• Prepare for sessions utilizing LEE facilitator guides and presentation materials.
• Participate in session preparation and run-throughs, and aid in the delivery of sessions and programming.
• Collaborate with the team to understand facilitation context and share insights.
• Lead or contribute to special projects at the team, organization-wide, or cross-team level.
• Incorporate local context from Northern California and/or Southern California into member programming.
• Dedicate approximately 12–15 hours per assigned event, encompassing preparation, facilitation, and follow-up.
• Anticipate leading an average of 1–2 events each quarter.
• Must reside in designated geographic hubs in Northern California or Southern California.
• Must have extensive community or educational networks within the relevant region.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; if lacking a Bachelor's degree, 4 additional years of relevant experience are required; 2 additional years required with an Associate’s degree.
• Over 5 years of relevant professional experience, including facilitating learning experiences for adults.
• Capacity to plan strategically, prioritize tasks, and manage implementation in dynamic and changing environments.
• Consultative mindset with the ability to identify intake needs and co-create experiences with stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel for regional events.
• Skilled in building and utilizing relationships with diverse audiences and partners.
• Proficient in communicating and collaborating within a geographically dispersed team.
• Strong dedication to LEE’s mission, core values, and theory of change.
• Native or professional bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
• Preferred experience in civic leadership, including politics/campaigns, policy, advocacy, and/or community organizing.
• Preferred experience working and coaching across diverse lines.
• Proficiency in Google Suite is preferred.
• Experience or proficiency with Salesforce, Tableau, Asana, and Google Sheets is required.
• Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be necessary.
• Ability to travel for in-person meetings in various U.S. cities.
