This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee program management for initiatives sponsored by Field Sales and cross-functional projects aimed at field operations.
• Convert strategic national objectives into executable project plans, governance structures, timelines, budgets, communication strategies, and implementation frameworks.
• Recognize dependencies, competing priorities, capacity limitations, sequencing challenges, and execution risks.
• Foster accountability by documenting and monitoring decisions, commitments, responsible parties, and follow-up actions.
• Prepare executive updates that encompass progress, risks, decisions, resource allocations, field feedback, and actionable recommendations.
• Direct project management for national and field-focused meetings, including Annual Regional Reviews, Plans of Action, National Sales Meetings, People Leader Meetings, and Fast Start sessions.
• Oversee integrated timelines, stakeholder workflows, content creation, presenter preparation, leadership reviews, communication efforts, and follow-up actions post-meeting.
• Lead designated national commercial initiatives and emerging business priorities.
• Coordinate cross-functional roles, responsibilities, timelines, dependencies, deliverables, and decision-making points.
• Assist in field readiness, communication, training, implementation, adoption, and change management processes.
• Facilitate cross-functional problem resolution and elevate strategic, resource, timing, scope, and leadership alignment concerns.
• Route tasks requiring Legal, Medical, Regulatory, or Compliance review through the necessary approval workflows.
• Identify and spearhead process improvement initiatives related to field platforms, communications, reporting workflows, meetings, and coordination.
• Collaborate with IT, Commercial Operations, Analytics, and system owners on Veeva and other field-facing technology projects.
• Create repeatable processes, templates, tools, and governance mechanisms.
• Provide temporary leadership support for vacant Regional Sales Director positions as required.
• Develop and oversee program budgets, forecasts, expenditure tracking, cost controls, and identification of financial risks.
• Coordinate engagement with external vendors and manage contracting with Finance, Procurement, Legal, and other functional stakeholders.
• Oversee vendor performance and formulate business cases and resource recommendations.
• Minimum of 2+ years of first-line leadership experience in pharmaceutical or biotech field sales.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 8 years of relevant commercial experience.
• Proven experience in coaching and developing field teams, along with a solid understanding of field leadership.
• Experience in leading complex national cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong grasp of pharmaceutical commercialization processes.
• Ability to influence without direct authority and effectively engage with executives.
• Strong program and project management skills coupled with enterprise commercial insight.
• Experience in budget and vendor management.
• Excellent communication and facilitation abilities.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
