Senior Director, ICSR

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Effectively oversee the assigned ICSR Management Unit.

• Ensure that the ICSR project teams are adequately resourced to optimize productivity and utilization.

• Establish productivity goals for ongoing projects and monitor updates to those targets.

• Analyze reports and redistribute resources within the ICSR Management Unit or across other units and departments.

• Manage Associate Directors and supervise employees to guarantee optimal utilization and productivity.

• Inform the Resourcing department and initiate resource requests when additional personnel are required.

• Recommend process improvements within project teams to the ICSR leadership.

• Implement best practices to enhance productivity and utilization.

• Provide training and mentorship to ICSR Line Managers and senior staff.

• Prepare analyses and generate reports.

• Evaluate budgets and resource allocations for new projects and expanded scopes of work.

• Support Directors of Projects, Business/Commercial, Operations, and Project Analytics teams.

• Collaborate with HR on recruitment, performance assessments, promotions, retention, and termination processes.

• Review and approve Critical CAPAs.

• Address requests from the Quality department.

• Revise and update operational procedures and guidelines.

• Engage in business development activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in life sciences, pharmacy, nursing, or a related healthcare field, or relevant experience in pharmacovigilance.

• Significant experience in pharmacovigilance case processing, encompassing both post-marketing and clinical phases.

• Preferably, experience with medical devices.

• Proven leadership experience at a senior level.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong organizational skills, including meticulous attention to detail and the ability to multitask.

• Excellent management capabilities, including delegation, time management, and issue resolution.

• Proficient technical skills.

• Strong team collaboration skills.

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications.
