Senior Director, ICSR

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Oversee the designated ICSR Management Unit.

• Ensure sufficient resources within ICSR project teams to enhance productivity and utilization.

• Establish and evaluate productivity objectives for ongoing projects.

• Assess workload, productivity, and resource utilization.

• Redistribute resources within the ICSR Management Unit and coordinate reallocations with other units and departments.

• Supervise Associate Directors and monitor employee utilization and productivity.

• Request and initiate approved additional resource needs.

• Suggest process improvements to ICSR leadership.

• Implement best practices to boost productivity and utilization.

• Mentor and train ICSR Line Managers and senior personnel.

• Create analyses and reports.

• Review budgets and resource distributions for new projects and scopes of work.

• Provide support to Directors of Projects, Business/Commercial, Operations, and Project Analytics teams.

• Collaborate with HR on recruitment, performance assessments, promotions, retention, and termination processes.

• Review and authorize Critical CAPAs.

• Address requests from the Quality department.

• Update and revise operating procedures and guidelines.

• Engage in business development initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in life sciences, pharmacy, nursing, or a related healthcare qualification, or experience in pharmacovigilance.

• Significant experience in pharmacovigilance case processing, encompassing post-marketing and clinical processing, preferably with medical devices.

• Proven experience in senior-level leadership roles.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.

• Excellent management and delegation capabilities.

• Proficient time and issue management skills.

• Strong technical skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team.

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications.
