Senior Director, ICSR

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Effectively oversee the designated ICSR Management Unit.

• Ensure that ICSR project teams have sufficient resources to enhance productivity and utilization.

• Establish productivity objectives and evaluate updates for ongoing projects.

• Assess workload, productivity, and resource utilization, reallocating resources as necessary.

• Supervise Associate Directors and manage employees to ensure optimal utilization and productivity.

• Alert the Resourcing department and initiate requests for additional resources when needed.

• Suggest process improvements within project teams to ICSR leadership.

• Implement best practices to boost productivity and utilization.

• Provide training and mentorship to ICSR Line Managers and senior personnel.

• Compile analyses and reports.

• Review budgets and resource allocations for new projects and expanded scopes of work.

• Assist Directors of Projects, Business/Commercial, Operations, and Project Analytics teams.

• Collaborate with HR on recruitment, performance evaluations, promotions, retention, and termination processes.

• Evaluate and approve Critical CAPAs from the ICSR Management Unit.

• Address requests from the Quality department.

• Revise and update operating procedures and guidelines.

• Engage in business development initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, pharmacy, nursing, or a related healthcare qualification, or relevant experience in pharmacovigilance.

• Significant experience in pharmacovigilance case processing, encompassing post-marketing, clinical, and ideally medical devices.

• Proven leadership experience at a senior level.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong organizational skills, with a focus on detail and multitasking.

• Proficient management skills, including delegation, time management, and issue resolution.

• Solid technical skills.

• Strong team collaboration skills.

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office.

• Experience in managing staff.

• Familiarity with project budget assessments and resource allocation.

• Experience with Critical CAPAs and quality assurance processes.
