Senior Director, ICSR

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Effectively manage the designated ICSR Management Unit

• Ensure that ICSR project teams have sufficient resources to enhance productivity and utilization

• Establish productivity goals and monitor updates on these targets

• Analyze reports and reassign resources within the ICSR Management Unit or across various units and departments

• Supervise Associate Directors and employees to guarantee proper utilization and productivity

• Request additional resources as necessary and upon approval

• Suggest process improvements within project teams to ICSR leadership

• Implement solutions and best practices to boost productivity and utilization

• Train and mentor ICSR Line Managers and senior personnel

• Prepare analyses and reports as required

• Review budgets and resource allocations for new projects and expanded scopes of work

• Provide support to Directors of Projects, Business/Commercial, Operations, and Project Analytics teams

• Assist HR with recruitment, performance assessment, promotions, retention, and termination processes

• Review and approve Critical CAPAs

• Address requests from the Quality department

• Review and update operational procedures and guidelines

• Engage in business development activities

⛳️ Requirements

• Graduate in life sciences, pharmacy, nursing, or other healthcare-related qualifications, or experience in pharmacovigilance

• Significant experience in pharmacovigilance case processing, including post-marketing, clinical, and preferably medical devices

• Proven leadership experience at a senior level

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask

• Excellent management abilities, including delegation, time management, and issue resolution

• Technical proficiency

• Ability to work effectively in teams

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office
