Senior Director, ICSR

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Oversee the designated ICSR Management Unit.

• Ensure sufficient resources within ICSR project teams to optimize productivity and utilization.

• Establish productivity objectives and monitor updates on those targets.

• Evaluate workload, productivity, and resource usage.

• Identify and execute resource reallocations both within and between units and departments.

• Supervise Associate Directors and manage employee productivity and utilization.

• Inform Resourcing about additional resource requirements and manage approved requests.

• Suggest process improvements within project teams to ICSR leadership.

• Implement best practices to enhance productivity and resource utilization.

• Provide training and mentorship to ICSR Line Managers and senior staff members.

• Create analyses and reports.

• Assess budgets and resource distribution for new projects and ongoing scopes of work.

• Assist Business/Commercial teams with contract management and proposals.

• Collaborate with Operations and Project Analytics teams.

• Support HR in recruitment, performance assessments, promotions, retention, and termination processes.

• Review and authorize Critical CAPAs.

• Respond to requests from the Quality department.

• Revise and refresh operating procedures and guidelines.

• Engage in business development initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in life sciences, pharmacy, nursing, or another healthcare-related field, or relevant experience in pharmacovigilance.

• Significant experience in pharmacovigilance case processing, covering both post-marketing and clinical scenarios; experience with medical devices is preferred.

• Proven leadership experience at a senior level.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking capabilities.

• Proficient in management, delegation, time management, and issue resolution.

• Technical proficiency.

• Ability to work effectively within a team.

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications.
