Senior Director, ICSR

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.

📋 Description

• Oversee the designated ICSR Management Unit.

• Ensure that project teams within ICSR are adequately resourced to enhance productivity and utilization.

• Establish productivity benchmarks and assess updates on these targets.

• Evaluate workload, productivity, and resource utilization, reallocating resources as necessary.

• Supervise Associate Directors and staff to guarantee effective utilization and productivity.

• Inform the Resourcing team about additional resource requirements and manage approved requests.

• Recommend process improvements within project teams to ICSR leadership.

• Implement best practices to boost productivity and resource utilization.

• Provide training and mentorship to ICSR Line Managers and senior personnel.

• Create analyses and reports.

• Examine budgets and resource allocations for new projects and expanded scopes of work.

• Assist Directors of Projects, Business/Commercial, Operations, and Project Analytics teams.

• Support HR with recruitment, performance assessments, promotions, retention strategies, and termination processes.

• Review and authorize Critical CAPAs.

• Address requests from the Quality department.

• Update and review operating procedures and guidelines.

• Engage in business development initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in life sciences, pharmacy, nursing, or a related healthcare field, or relevant experience in pharmacovigilance.

• Significant experience in processing pharmacovigilance cases, including both post-marketing and clinical processing, preferably in medical devices.

• Proven leadership experience at a senior level.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the capability to multitask.

• Excellent management and delegation capabilities.

• Proficient time and issue management skills.

• Technical proficiency.

• Strong team collaboration skills.

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications.
