Senior Director, ICSR

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Oversee the designated ICSR Management Unit.

• Ensure sufficient resources are available within ICSR project teams to maximize productivity and utilization.

• Establish productivity targets and evaluate proposed updates.

• Assess workload, productivity, utilization, and resource distribution.

• Reassign resources within the ICSR Management Unit and coordinate shifts with other units and departments.

• Supervise Associate Directors and manage staff to guarantee effective utilization and productivity.

• Inform the Resourcing department and initiate requests for additional resources as necessary.

• Suggest process improvements within project teams to ICSR leadership.

• Identify solutions and implement best practices to enhance productivity and utilization.

• Provide training and mentorship to ICSR Line Managers and senior personnel.

• Compile analyses and reports.

• Review budgets and resource allocations for new projects and additional scopes of work.

• Support Directors of Projects, Business/Commercial Operations, and Project Analytics teams as required.

• Collaborate with HR concerning recruitment, performance assessments, promotions, retention, and termination processes.

• Evaluate and approve Critical CAPAs from the ICSR Management Unit.

• Address requests from the Quality department.

• Review and revise PrimeVigilance operating procedures and guidelines.

• Engage in business development initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in life sciences, pharmacy, nursing, or another healthcare-related qualification, or experience in pharmacovigilance.

• Significant experience in pharmacovigilance case processing, including post-marketing and clinical processing; experience with medical devices is preferred.

• Proven leadership experience at a senior level.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.

• Outstanding management and delegation abilities.

• Effective time and issue management skills.

• Proficient technical skills.

• Strong team collaboration skills.

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office.
