
Senior Director, Head Launch Excellence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Define and implement the Launch Excellence operating model, encompassing launch-clock scope, global-to-local transitions, governance, decision-making authority, service standards, and escalation procedures.
β’ Establish quality benchmarks for launch readiness, prepare key milestones and leadership engagement points, and oversee risk and decision documentation.
β’ Collaborate with Global, Regional, and Affiliate teams to convert launch strategies into cohesive launch plans and market activation initiatives.
β’ Provide hands-on, guided, and self-service Launch Excellence assistance based on brand priority, market significance, launch intricacy, and associated risks.
β’ Recruit, onboard, and lead the Launch Excellence team at the Amgen India Capability Center.
β’ Create launch dashboards, readiness tools, quality assessments, checklists, self-evaluations, KPI dictionaries, playbooks, and AI-driven workflows.
β’ Develop readiness routines, heatmaps, KPI definitions, risk indicators, decision logs, and escalation processes.
β’ Design onboarding and training modules, foster communities of practice, compile reusable launch cases, conduct after-action reviews, and facilitate post-launch evaluations.
β’ Create global launch forums to exchange lessons learned and share best practices.
β’ Cultivate trusted relationships with leaders at global, regional, and local levels.
β’ A Bachelorβs degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
β’ Significant biopharmaceutical commercial experience, ideally between 22β26 years, spanning global, regional, and local marketing and commercial roles.
β’ Demonstrated success in launching multiple products, brands, markets, and launch models.
β’ Direct experience in leading launch excellence, launch readiness, launch operations, or executing in multiple markets.
β’ Familiarity with integrated launch plans, critical-path milestones, risk management, and launch governance.
β’ Proven experience in people management, including team building, establishing operating frameworks, and mentoring talent in complex matrix settings.
β’ Capability to engage senior stakeholders, influence across various functions, and communicate effectively with executive audiences.
β’ Strong project management, organizational, and analytical abilities.
β’ Proficiency in utilizing dashboards, KPIs, and risk-based decision-making.
β’ Preferred experience with digital tools, dashboards, AI-driven workflows, or automation in commercial operations, launch readiness, or launch execution.
