This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.
β’ Identify, source, and secure high-value partnerships with merchants, brands, and affiliate networks.
β’ Take charge of the strategy, partner mix, merchandising, and development of Brimβs rewards marketplace.
β’ Create commercial models encompassing revenue share, merchant-funded offers, affiliate economics, interchange, and various partnership frameworks.
β’ Oversee partnerships from initial prospecting and negotiation through contracting, onboarding, launch, performance management, and renewal.
β’ Monitor performance, revenue, engagement, and partner-level economics.
β’ Enhance the portfolio and address underperforming partnerships.
β’ Provide market intelligence, partnership models, and innovative concepts to bolster Brimβs competitive edge and customer value.
β’ Cultivate senior-level relationships across merchant, brand, loyalty, affiliate, and commerce ecosystems.
β’ Establish Brim as a compelling partner.
β’ 7β10+ years of pertinent experience in partnerships, business development, rewards, loyalty, marketplaces, or similar commercial roles.
β’ Ideally possess experience in credit cards, payments, fintech, retail, or commerce.
β’ In-depth knowledge of rewards and merchant ecosystems.
β’ Proven track record of establishing and expanding partnership programs.
β’ Strong existing network of relationships with merchants, brands, vendors, and affiliates.
β’ Capability to generate opportunities, design partnership structures, negotiate complex commercial terms, and finalize deals.
β’ Understanding of revenue share, merchant-funded offers, affiliate models, interchange, and partnership economics.
β’ Exceptional negotiation and contract management skills.
β’ Ability to translate commercial strategies into actionable agreements.
β’ Self-motivated, agile, and accountable approach.
β’ Skill in building trust with senior external partners, influencing internal stakeholders, and driving cross-functional execution.
β’ Capability to flourish in uncertainty and question conventional methods.
β’ Ability to leverage performance data and partner economics for investment, optimization, or exit decisions.
