Senior Director, Group Strategy Execution

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Convert the Animal Nutrition and Health (ANH) and enterprise strategy into regional priorities, execution plans, and measurable outcomes throughout EMEA, India, and Global Salmon.

• Oversee comprehensive regional strategic planning and execution.

• Ensure alignment with the ANH strategy, maintain disciplined governance, and facilitate the delivery of strategic initiatives.

• Serve as a trusted advisor and integral member of the Regional Leadership Team.

• Refine and implement the regional strategy and business portfolio alongside ANH and regional leaders.

• Transform strategy into actionable initiatives and coordinate resource allocation across various markets, segments, and value pools.

• Evaluate the regional business portfolio to identify opportunities for accelerated growth, performance optimization, or segment exits.

• Track progress, eliminate bottlenecks, and ensure achievement of targets.

• Establish a rhythm of execution with the portfolio leader and PMO.

• Enhance program and project management capabilities through governance, playbooks, tools, KPIs, and best practices.

• Facilitate and advance Commercial Excellence capabilities across EMEAI and Global Salmon.

• Connect the deployment of Commercial Excellence capabilities to growth, margin, and mix outcomes.

• Lead regional projects related to M&A, divestitures, and joint venture strategies.

• Ensure the connection between strategic rationale, value creation thesis, and execution readiness.

• Influence business direction and key decisions as a member of the Regional Leadership Team.

• Promote alignment across various functions and regions.

• Foster cross-functional collaboration among Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, HR, and other departments.

• Mentor and coach talent while developing strategy and execution capabilities.

• Cultivate leadership effectiveness and create talent pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 12 years of experience in strategy, transformation, commercial strategy, or program leadership roles.

• Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into execution within complex, matrixed environments.

• Strong experience in aligning stakeholders at the senior leadership level.

• Familiarity with agri-food, protein, aquaculture, or B2B value chains is a significant advantage.

• Experience with M&A joint ventures and strategic partnerships is preferred.

• Strong strategic problem-solving abilities.

• Excellence in execution and disciplined delivery capabilities.

• Solid business and financial acumen.

• Ability to influence stakeholders effectively.

• Skills in capability building.

• Proficiency in change leadership.

• Ability to communicate strategies clearly and produce executive-ready written and visual materials.
