This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee, mentor, and guide a team focused on enhancing revenue from groups, meetings, and events.
• Set clear performance standards, revenue targets, pipeline objectives, and accountability frameworks.
• Formulate and implement sales and marketing strategies aimed at boosting revenue and expanding market share across group sectors and verticals.
• Discover and nurture new business prospects while reinforcing relationships with existing customers and strategic accounts.
• Promote the use of insights-driven sales techniques leveraging data, analytics, CRM systems, Tableau, Salesforce, and other business intelligence resources.
• Establish and maintain high-level executive relationships with third-party vendors and strategic allies.
• Spearhead initiatives for meeting technology integration and facilitate connectivity with external group and meeting platforms.
• Collaborate with Distribution, Marketing, Revenue Management, Sales Enablement, and other internal teams to enhance channel performance and customer engagement.
• Create channel-specific business plans and marketing initiatives to boost customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty.
• Provide communication, training, and education to hotel operators regarding group channel opportunities, platform use, and revenue optimization strategies.
• Oversee budgets, resource distribution, and operational plans that support assigned channels and strategic objectives.
• Evaluate business trends, market dynamics, customer insights, and competitive activities to identify opportunities and implement solutions that enhance performance.
• Lead cross-functional projects and contribute to the strategic vision of the Global Sales organization.
• 10+ years of advancing sales, business development, account management, hospitality, travel, meetings, events, or other relevant commercial experience.
• 7+ years of leadership experience, including mentoring, developing, and managing high-achieving sales teams.
• Proven track record in creating and executing sales strategies that foster revenue growth and increase market share.
• Experience in managing strategic partnerships, vendor relations, and cross-departmental business initiatives.
• Background in budget management, business planning, forecasting, and operational oversight.
• Preferred experience in the hospitality, lodging, travel, meetings, or events sectors.
• Experience in leading managers or senior-level sales professionals is preferred.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Familiarity with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems.
• Experience with Tableau or other business intelligence and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in data interpretation.
• Knowledge of sales pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting systems.
• Familiarity with marketing technology and digital communication platforms is preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Relevant industry certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
