Senior Director, Global Health Economic & Outcomes Research – Real World Evidence, Hematology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and implement the global HEOR/RWE strategy and activities for BRUKINSA across various indications and throughout its product lifecycle.

• Identify evidence gaps and create as well as execute comprehensive value evidence generation plans.

• Design and carry out real-world evidence and comparative effectiveness studies utilizing claims data and electronic health records.

• Monitor clinical, competitive, payer, and evidence landscapes to develop HEOR/RWE analyses and evidence-generation strategies.

• Collaborate on payer, JCA, and HTA submissions while overseeing indirect comparisons and economic modeling deliverables.

• Spearhead the development of Global Value Dossiers and the US AMCP dossier.

• Lead health economic models, including cost-effectiveness and budget impact analyses.

• Drive HEOR/RWE publication strategy and share evidence through abstracts, manuscripts, congress presentations, and omnichannel distributions.

• Partner with Clinical Development, Biostatistics, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Commercial, and Market Access teams.

• Manage external vendors and research partners, overseeing study design, execution, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.

• Provide strategic HEOR guidance to affiliates and regional teams.

• Offer matrix leadership and supervision of external vendors and consultants as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced degree in Health Economics Outcomes Research (HEOR), Epidemiology, Public Health, Biostatistics, or a related field.

• PhD with 6+ years or Master’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience in the biopharmaceutical industry or consulting.

• Experience in Hematology/Oncology is strongly preferred.

• Proven experience as HEOR/RWE lead supporting product launch and lifecycle management.

• Demonstrated experience in leading and executing evidence generation strategies and HEOR deliverables.

• Strong understanding of global market dynamics and the reimbursement landscape, with experience supporting HTA and/or JCA submissions.

• Research expertise in designing and conducting HEOR/RWE studies, including indirect comparisons, economic models, and comparative effectiveness studies.

• Experience in data dissemination and communication.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Innovative mindset with a creative approach and applied AI knowledge for evidence generation and HEOR insights.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, objectives, timelines, and budgets effectively.

• Capability to work within a cross-functional matrix team environment and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Familiarity with statistical software, HEOR modeling tools, and AI-enabled methodologies for evidence generation and communication.

• Willingness to travel up to 15–20% as necessary.
