This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement the long-term strategy for the global EHS3 function.
• Provide leadership across Governance & Assurance, Environmental Compliance, Occupational Health & Safety, Security, Sustainability, Enterprise Risk Management, and Operational Excellence.
• Guide a global organization through subordinate Directors, Senior Managers, and regional leaders.
• Supervise workforce planning, organizational design, resource allocation, and strategic execution.
• Create enterprise EHS management systems, standards, processes, and governance frameworks.
• Ensure adherence to local, national, and international EHS regulations.
• Manage relationships with regulatory authorities and oversee compliance reporting and inquiries.
• Supervise assessments, audits, inspections, and corrective-action programs.
• Establish process-performance measures, KPIs, reporting systems, and enterprise standards.
• Lead initiatives in continuous improvement, audits, corrective actions, incident investigations, and organizational learning.
• Develop EHS data governance, analytics, dashboards, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Direct multiple global EHS3 functional organizations and ensure accountability for their integration and performance.
• Provide counsel to executive leadership on EHS3 risks, governance, compliance, sustainability, and security issues.
• Represent the company before regulators, industry associations, board-level committees, investors, and external stakeholders.
• Oversee a significant global EHS3 operating budget and manage capital planning and investments.
• Integrate environmental compliance, occupational safety, security, sustainability, governance, assurance, and enterprise risk management into a cohesive global operating model.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, Occupational Health, or a related field.
• A Master's or advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 15+ years of progressive global leadership experience in Environmental, Health & Safety, Security, Sustainability, Governance, Risk, or Compliance functions.
• A minimum of 10 years managing large, multi-functional organizations through subordinate Directors and senior leaders.
• Proven track record in developing enterprise strategy, managing substantial global budgets, and spearheading large-scale organizational transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to influence executive leadership and drive strategic decisions with enterprise-wide implications.
• Experience in managing complex global organizations with responsibilities for workforce planning, organizational design, and resource allocation across various business functions.
• Strong leadership and management capabilities, with the ability to influence and instigate change across diverse teams and regions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with internal stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and external partners.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate complex compliance challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical, hands-on management of EHS compliance activities.
