Clinical Risk Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Perform daily monitoring of clinical risks.

• Oversee and manage documents and processes related to AI, ProtoCall, On-Call, Post Mortem, and RMCC.

• Facilitate Psychological First Aid needs through Talkspace following sentinel events and as required.

• Manage and supervise Risk Management SOPs, policies, and associated tasks.

• Create enhanced systems and strategies for Risk Management.

• Provide learning communities focused on Risk Management.

• Assist in the onboarding and training of providers regarding clinical risk management.

• Conduct audits of peer proficiency to investigate complaints and identify opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation.

• Develop and refine criteria for evaluating clinical quality.

• Support providers with clinical challenges and connect them with peer consultants as necessary.

• Aid in clinical risk management activities.

• Coordinate quality management audits to inform practitioner action plans.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives as required.

• Execute other related responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a Master’s degree in counseling or a related licensure-qualifying field.

• At least 3 years of experience as an Independently Licensed Mental Health Professional.

• Over 1 year of experience in telemental health.

• Proficiency in Risk Management and Clinical Quality.

• Direct experience in Clinical Risk Management in telehealth is preferred but not mandatory.

• Advanced analytical and interpretative skills are preferred but not required.

• Ability to participate in meetings during standard daytime hours, preferably in the Eastern Time Zone.

• A strong passion for quality mental healthcare and clinical risk management.
