Senior Director, Financial Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the roadmap and architecture for the financial systems ecosystem, which includes NetSuite ERP, Salesforce, Metronome, Ramp, Tipalti, Celigo, and FloQast.

• Act as the systems owner for the quote-to-cash process and revenue recognition.

• Maintain clean data flow and ensure reconciliation between Salesforce, Metronome, and NetSuite.

• Lead the implementation, upgrades, and integration of systems.

• Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, Revenue Operations, Procurement, and IT to convert business requirements into scalable solutions.

• Guarantee robust internal controls and audit readiness across financial systems, emphasizing revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606.

• Build and oversee a team of systems analysts and administrators.

• Manage relationships with vendors across the financial systems stack.

• Direct the strategy, architecture, and operations of the core financial technology stack.

• Ensure data integrity, controls, and compliance throughout the ecosystem.

• Set the strategic direction, manage the team, guide design decisions, and provide troubleshooting support for systems as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of progressive experience in financial systems or ERP leadership roles.

• More than 4 years in a senior management position.

• Required hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP.

• Strong preference for experience with Salesforce, Metronome, Ramp, and/or FloQast.

• Significant advantage for experience with usage-based billing and the complexities of revenue recognition (ASC 606).

• Demonstrated success in leading system implementations or integrations across a multi-system financial stack.

• Strong skills in cross-functional collaboration and people leadership.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.

• CPA, MBA, or relevant certifications are a plus.
