This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more state.
• Spearhead the transformation and modernization of JD Power’s enterprise business applications, which include Salesforce, NetSuite, Coupa, and interconnected SaaS platforms.
• Take ownership of the multi-year strategy and roadmap for enterprise applications.
• Guide JD Power’s quote-to-cash transformation process from opportunity identification to revenue recognition.
• Manage and enhance quote-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, and hire-to-retire workflows.
• Oversee the delivery of implementations, enhancements, and integrations.
• Act as the product owner for core enterprise platforms, making prioritization and trade-off decisions.
• Promote integrations, data quality, automation, workflow enhancements, and AI-driven tools.
• Set architectural standards, governance frameworks, security protocols, and DevOps maturity levels.
• Establish metrics and dashboards to assess platform health, delivery performance, and business results.
• Build, develop, and lead a team of managers and individual contributors.
• Cultivate application talent, clarify roles, define career paths, and provide technical and delivery leadership.
• Collaborate with executive stakeholders in Finance, Sales, RevOps, HR, and Operations.
• Oversee platform budgets, vendor relationships, systems integrator partnerships, license strategies, RFP/RFI processes, contract negotiations, and total cost of ownership.
• Maintain relationships with Salesforce and other strategic vendors, including NetSuite and Coupa.
• 12+ years of experience in enterprise technology, enterprise applications, or business systems.
• 5+ years of experience leading application platform teams at the Director level or higher.
• Proven experience in scaling Salesforce organizations in rapidly evolving environments, with CPQ and Billing systems in operation.
• A strong track record of leading quote-to-cash transformations from start to finish, including opportunity through revenue recognition.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise SaaS platforms beyond Salesforce, including NetSuite, Coupa, and HR/HCM systems.
• Demonstrated success in leading implementations, integrations, and system enhancements.
• Extensive expertise in integrations, APIs, event-driven patterns, and data flows within Azure and AWS cloud ecosystems.
• Familiarity with AI-driven tools that enhance internal business processes, along with sound judgment regarding governance and human oversight (preferred).
• Experience in building and managing teams of architects, developers, administrators, and analysts, including managerial roles.
• Proven experience in managing multi-million-dollar platform budgets, vendor negotiations, and systems integrator collaborations.
• Skilled in cost/benefit analysis and RFP/RFI processes.
• Experience in defining application strategy within multi-entity or post-acquisition contexts.
• Background in private equity-backed or high-growth scenarios.
• Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly with C-suite and SVP-level Finance and GTM stakeholders.
• Experience in data-intensive or analytics-driven industries, especially automotive, financial services, or information services sectors (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Advanced degree or relevant certifications (preferred).
