
Senior Director – Corporate Partnerships

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary leader at NFF for corporate fundraising and engagement efforts.
• Create, manage, and implement a thorough national corporate strategy.
• Meet annual and multi-year revenue goals while constructing a diverse and sustainable corporate funding portfolio.
• Set priorities for acquiring, retaining, growing, and establishing long-term partnerships with corporations.
• Develop and manage a comprehensive pipeline of corporate prospects, including forecasting, portfolio oversight, moves management, and performance metrics.
• Personally engage with, solicit, negotiate, and nurture approximately 30–50 high-potential corporate partners and prospects.
• Build trusted relationships with C-suite executives and senior leaders in relevant business sectors.
• Lead the development and negotiation of intricate, high-value corporate partnerships.
• Identify and initiate innovative partnership models encompassing philanthropy, sustainability, ESG, cause marketing, sponsorships, employee engagement, matching gifts, consumer activation, and other approaches.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to enhance NFF's reach, bolster brand visibility, engage new audiences, and create mutual value.
• Work alongside Conservation, regional teams, and organizational leaders to pinpoint fundable opportunities and translate fieldwork into corporate partnerships.
• Establish and implement partnership criteria and due diligence processes.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a growing national Corporate Partnerships team.
• Create an organizational structure, staffing model, systems, and performance framework to scale the corporate program effectively.
• Provide strategic leadership and support to regional conservation and fundraising teams.
• Engage executive leadership, Board members, Ambassador Council members, and organizational advocates to promote corporate opportunities.
• Oversee the development of proposals, sponsorship packages, presentations, reports, and cause-marketing initiatives.
• Manage corporate grant applications, agreements, reporting, compliance, recognition, and stewardship.
• Collaborate with Advancement Operations on pipeline management, revenue forecasting, prospect tracking, reporting, and performance evaluation.
• Monitor trends in corporate philanthropy, sustainability, ESG, water stewardship, nature-based solutions, corporate responsibility, cause marketing, sponsorships, and engagement.
• Represent NFF externally to corporate executives, industry leaders, conferences, convenings, and strategic audiences.
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
• A strong passion for conservation and public lands.
• Preferred knowledge of the conservation, environmental, sustainability, or nonprofit sectors.
• A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in corporate fundraising, corporate partnerships, business development, sponsorship sales, or related fields.
• A proven track record of securing and expanding significant revenue-generating partnerships.
• Experience in developing and executing partnership and fundraising strategies that yield measurable revenue growth and organizational impact.
• Experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
• Demonstrated success in engaging and influencing senior corporate leaders and stakeholders.
• Strong skills in project management, communication, negotiation, and relationship management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, CRM platforms, and fundraising or donor management systems.
• Proven success in securing and managing corporate partnerships, shared value initiatives, ESG programs, or corporate philanthropy investments that support mission-driven outcomes.
• A strong commitment to NFF's mission and the ability to articulate its impact to corporate partners and stakeholders.
• Ability to think strategically and identify opportunities for partnership expansion, revenue increase, and advancement of organizational priorities.
• Capacity to lead with initiative, accountability, and sound judgment in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities while remaining focused on long-term goals and results.
• Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with corporate leaders, board members, funders, and internal stakeholders.
• Professional representation of NFF with credibility and executive presence.

• Residence in the United States, with flexibility across the lower 48 states.
