This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Oversee and utilize resources to create, identify, develop, and qualify business opportunities.
• Attain growth objectives by acquiring new business, securing contract recompetes, and promoting organic program development.
• Establish and maintain a dynamic opportunity pipeline that aligns with corporate strategy and objectives.
• Act as the primary liaison with the customer community, fostering both internal and external customer relationships.
• Formulate and implement strategies to influence requirements and acquisition methodologies.
• Identify and pursue new business sectors, adjacent markets, and partnerships.
• Assist potential customers by showcasing technology solutions, architectures, capabilities, and acquisition pathways for early-stage opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal technical and program management teams to create RFIs, market surveys, white papers, presentations, briefings, and major event demonstrations.
• Bachelor’s Degree and over 18 years of relevant experience.
• 12–15 years of related professional experience, primarily in business development, marketing, or technical and engineering solutions within the Navy/USMC sector.
• Equivalent experience in government or GS analyst roles may be accepted in place of direct business development experience for early career positions.
• Proven track record of supporting and securing contracts with Navy/USMC clients.
• Demonstrated history of successful pursuits exceeding $500M.
• Experience in building relationships with strategic teaming partners, both prime and sub.
• Capability to develop and nurture key relationships within customer organizations.
• Ability to work autonomously while maintaining a focus on enterprise objectives.
• Understanding of customer needs to align Peraton’s capabilities and core values.
• Proficiency in structuring key partnerships and alliances while establishing and expanding new relationships.
• High energy, integrity, strong business acumen, professionalism, and commitment.
• Highly effective in communicating with all levels of the company and customers, including senior executives and General/Flag Officers.
• Familiarity with the regulations, processes, and nuances of the Federal Government technology capture process.
• US citizenship is required.
• Active Top Secret security clearance is required; Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is preferred.
• Previous military service in the Navy or Marine Corps is preferred.
