This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee the implementation of PSG's biotech account management strategy within the designated region.
• Be responsible for the performance of regional strategic accounts, focusing on revenue growth, customer retention, profitability, customer satisfaction, and expansion of share-of-wallet.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing regional account management team.
• Set performance expectations, create talent development plans, and devise succession strategies.
• Identify opportunities for growth, enhance pipeline development, and facilitate strategic account planning.
• Develop and sustain executive-level relationships with key stakeholders at customer organizations.
• Act as a trusted advisor and escalation point for strategic accounts.
• Collaborate with teams in Commercial, Business Unit, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Strategy.
• Provide PSG leadership with market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback.
• Drive account management processes, ensure forecasting accuracy, manage opportunities, and optimize CRM usage.
• Support initiatives for commercial transformation, including digital enablement, adoption of analytics, process optimization, and innovations in customer engagement.
• Ensure the execution of account governance, customer business reviews, and executive sponsorship programs.
• Represent PSG at customer meetings, industry conferences, and regional commercial leadership forums.
• Collaborate with the Vice President of Global Account Management to identify and implement best practices.
• Over 12 years of progressive leadership experience in commercial roles within pharmaceutical services, CDMO, CRO, biotech, life sciences, or related sectors.
• Extensive experience in leading large, customer-facing commercial organizations and overseeing leaders.
• Proven track record in driving revenue growth and retaining customers across strategic account portfolios.
• Experience managing complex, multi-site, and multi-country customer relationships within matrixed global organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and foster alignment across various functions and business units.
• Strong financial and commercial understanding, including skills in forecasting, strategic pricing, portfolio management, and prioritizing investments.
• Experience in developing and implementing regional growth strategies that support broader enterprise objectives.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and influencing capabilities.
• Capability to establish credibility and build relationships with executive-level customer stakeholders.
• Strong coaching and talent development skills with a background in leading large, geographically dispersed teams.
• Strategic thinker combined with operational discipline and a focus on execution.
• Proficiency in Salesforce and other CRM or sales management tools.
• Ability to analyze commercial performance metrics and convert insights into actionable strategies.
• Proven commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and employee development.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 40–50%).
• Preference for candidates located in the U.S. Pacific Time Zone (West Coast).
• A minimum of a B.Sc. degree preferred in a scientific discipline or a business-related field.
• An MBA or professional business education is preferred.
