This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish, assess, and expand tools, platforms, AI agents, workflows, and infrastructure for the Product Development Lifecycle that supports contemporary product management.
• Take ownership of product requirements, evaluate tools, and provide adoption support for Digital Product Operating Model tools and platforms.
• Analyze tools and workflows that underpin product strategy, discovery, roadmapping, OKRs, prioritization, intake, requirements gathering, stakeholder alignment, delivery, measurement, documentation, and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with product teams and cross-functional stakeholders to comprehend workflow requirements, challenges, adoption obstacles, and opportunities for technology enablement.
• Define and facilitate Amgen’s vision for AI-assisted and AI-led Product Development Lifecycle.
• Experiment with and assess AI-enabled tools, agents, and workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in AI, technology, architecture, data, security, privacy, quality, and governance.
• Enhance and refine tools, workflows, and practices for the Product Development Lifecycle.
• Lead pilot programs, onboarding, training, stakeholder alignment, feedback loops, and measurement of adoption.
• Integrate with product teams to enhance product management practices and expedite the adoption of the Digital Product Operating Model.
• Mentor Digital Product Managers and cross-functional team members in product management competencies.
• Temporarily assume product management duties in the absence of a designated Digital Product Manager.
• Assist teams in embracing outcome-driven product management and clarifying roles, decision-making rights, operating rhythms, and metrics for success.
• Shape product vision, strategy, roadmaps, OKRs, KPIs, value realization plans, and prioritization choices.
• Implement the Catalyst engagement model, which includes assessment, planning, coaching, measuring adoption, transition planning, and capturing learning.
• Define metrics for engagement success and convert lessons learned into reusable examples, templates, practices, and enhancements for playbooks.
• Cultivate stakeholder relationships, influence without formal authority, communicate progress and risks, and escalate obstacles to the Director of Product Management Catalysts as necessary.
• Doctorate degree and 2 years of experience in Digital Product, Product Management, Product Leadership, Digital Transformation, Technology Strategy, or a related field; or a Master’s degree with 6 years; or a Bachelor’s degree with 8 years; or an Associate degree with 10 years; or a high school diploma/GED with 12 years of experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in direct management of individuals and/or leadership experience in guiding teams, projects, programs, or directing resource allocation.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience may coincide with the required technical experience.
• Preferred: 5+ years of progressive experience in product operations, digital product management, product tooling, digital transformation, technology enablement, AI-enabled workflows, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of product management practices throughout the Product Development Lifecycle.
• Experience with the evaluation, implementation, or promotion of product management tools, portfolio planning, intake, roadmapping, analytics, documentation, collaboration, or AI-enabled workflows.
• Comfort with experimenting on tools, AI agents, prototypes, automations, and enhancements to workflows.
• Ability to convert product team needs into requirements, pilot programs, recommendations, enablement plans, and scalable workflows.
• Capability to collaborate with technology, architecture, AI, data, security, privacy, quality, procurement, and governance teams.
• Experience in supporting tool adoption, change enablement, training, documentation, or redesigning workflows within complex enterprise environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, which include the capacity to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to balance innovation, usability, governance, quality, trust, and responsible AI considerations.
• Comfort in navigating ambiguity and building new capabilities.
• Preferred: Experience in healthcare, biotechnology, or other regulated industries.
• Preferred: Familiarity with AI-native product development, generative AI workflows, responsible AI principles, and the role of AI in product management.
