This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +1 more country.
• Oversee governance at the portfolio level across product platforms, key subcontractors, lifecycle transitions, and modernization or migration initiatives.
• Facilitate connections between Product Management, Engineering, Quality, System Architecture, TAC/Support, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, Legal, Sales, PMO/Programs, and customer-facing teams.
• Integrate and scrutinize plans, statuses, risks, dependencies, decisions, and commitments from subcontractor project managers and relevant internal functions.
• Maintain the enterprise plan of record and provide a leadership overview; ensure closure of cross-functional gaps without assuming day-to-day project management responsibilities.
• Act as the governance interface for the enterprise with subcontractor program and project managers.
• Evaluate and challenge supplier reports, performance metrics, risks, obligations, milestones, acceptance evidence, changes, and forecasts.
• Consolidate enterprise reporting and assist with updates or negotiations for Statements of Work (SOW) with Procurement, Finance, Legal, Engineering, and Product teams.
• Incorporate modernization and migration strategies into lifecycle and portfolio governance.
• Lead the integration of cross-functional planning, readiness, dependencies, decisions, and risk management.
• Provide governance for the cross-functional portfolio concerning Dialog, PEBL, and D9100.
• Integrate sustaining efforts, defects, obsolescence, supportability, customer commitments, modernization, migration, and end-of-life/end-of-service considerations.
• Coordinate evidence-based readiness across INIT, CAP, Release, and end-of-life stages.
• Merge scope, schedule, effort, assumptions, and dependencies into an approved baseline; ensure that changes are visible, assessed, approved, and traceable.
• Maintain a comprehensive view of enterprise risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions.
• Proactively escalate issues with business impacts, options, recommendations, owners, and required decision dates.
• Ensure that records in Jira, Jama, SPM, Confluence/SharePoint, Power BI, and relevant ERP/CRM systems support a dependable execution overview.
• Identify patterns of recurring execution failures and transform them into measurable enhancements for templates, cadences, controls, KPIs, and handoff processes.
• Propose framework modifications through POG governance and drive their adoption across assigned programs.
• Typically requires 10+ years of increasingly responsible experience in product operations, technical program management, supplier governance, portfolio execution, or a similar cross-functional leadership role; equivalent demonstrated experience may substitute for a specific degree path.
• Proven ownership of complex programs that span multiple functions, geographies, platforms, or customer deployments in a technical product setting.
• Direct experience in developing or overseeing statements of work, deliverables, milestones, acceptance criteria, change controls, negotiations, and supplier performance.
• Demonstrated capability in leading modernization, migration, deployment, lifecycle transition, sustaining, or end-of-life/end-of-service programs that have significant operational or customer impact.
• Strong understanding of integrated planning, baseline and change control, dependency management, risk governance, decision traceability, and executive reporting.
• Ability to constructively challenge incomplete inputs, influence without direct authority, and foster accountability among senior functional stakeholders.
• Professional fluency in English for global executive, supplier, and contractual communications.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across India, Europe, the Americas, and other time zones as needed.
• Background in telecommunications, SATCOM, aerospace/defense, networking, SaaS, or another complex technical product environment (preferred).
• Experience working with globally distributed Engineering and supplier teams, including collaboration across India or Brazil (preferred).
• Familiarity with Agile, SAFe, waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies (preferred).
• Knowledge of Jira, Jama, SPM or similar product-data systems, Confluence/SharePoint, Power BI, ERP/CRM platforms, and structured requirements traceability (preferred).
• Experience in enhancing governance, KPI definitions, operational cadences, or cross-program execution frameworks at scale (preferred).
