AI Product Operations Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance the backlog of AI opportunities within the R&D department.

• Navigate unclear challenges from the initial discovery phase through to delivery, testing, documentation, launch, measurement, and refinement.

• Create straightforward, AI-centric solutions utilizing prompts, workflows, integrations, agents, databases, or custom applications.

• Assist R&D in leveraging enterprise AI tools like Glean and Claude, collaborating with IT and InfoSec for access, configuration, connectors, enablement, and support.

• Manage the lifecycle of automations, skills, agents, and internal web applications.

• Develop strategies for evaluation, testing, reliability, observability, security, and maintenance.

• Collaborate across R&D to identify needs, facilitate delivery, clarify ownership, and engage experts.

• Contribute to the advancement of R&D AI governance and enablement practices.

• Engage in Typeform’s wider AI governance initiatives.

• Coordinate with Finance to enhance transparency regarding AI tool usage, expenditures, and value.

• Investigate and support autonomous agents throughout the product development lifecycle.

• Extensive hands-on experience applying AI to practical challenges and developing user-centric solutions.

• Proven ability to manage ambiguous challenges from discovery to implementation, testing, adoption, and continuous enhancement.

• Exceptional systems thinking skills encompassing people, processes, tools, data flows, integrations, permissions, and technical limitations.

• Strong skills in user and workflow discovery.

• Technical proficiency in building, modifying, and troubleshooting internal workflows, automations, agents, or applications.

• Practical experience with GitHub, including repositories, pull requests, basic application hosting, deployment, logging, and operational troubleshooting.

• Ability to manage work autonomously, including backlogs, dependencies, risks, documentation, and communication with stakeholders.

• Robust evaluation and reliability approach, involving testing, feedback collection, and post-launch improvement.

• Capacity to work effectively across both technical and non-technical teams without close day-to-day supervision.

• Sound judgment regarding responsible AI, security, access, and governance.
