
Senior Digital Product Manager, Product Operations – Playbook & Training

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Enhance Amgen’s Digital Product Operating Model by developing, updating, and promoting practical adoption materials.
• Take ownership of the DPOM playbook content, product management standards, templates, examples, self-service guides, formal training, and accelerator workshops.
• Develop guidance for product vision and strategy, defining user and business problems, product charters, roadmaps, OKRs, KPIs, discovery, prioritization, roles, decision rights, operating rhythms, and value measurement.
• Collaborate with the Director of Product Operations and leadership from the Product Management Hub to ensure playbook content aligns with enterprise standards.
• Create and maintain reusable templates, examples, checklists, workshop materials, and accelerators.
• Manage version control, content hygiene, distribution, and socialization of DPOM materials.
• Design and conduct formal training sessions, accelerator workshops, and enablement experiences.
• Assist business, digital product, technology, design, data, and engineering teams in implementing DPOM.
• Enhance training and accelerator content based on feedback, adoption challenges, and maturity insights.
• Collaborate with Product Management Catalysts to transform field insights into reusable assets and updates for the playbook.
• Work alongside Product Operations and enterprise enabling teams to scale DPOM guidance and integrate AI-enabled product practices.
• Doctorate degree and 2 years of experience in Digital Product, Product Management, Product Leadership, Digital Transformation, Technology Strategy, or a related field; or equivalent alternatives: Master’s degree and 6 years; Bachelor’s degree and 8 years; Associate’s degree and 10 years; or high school diploma/GED and 12 years.
• At least 2 years of experience in direct people management and/or leadership experience in guiding teams, projects, or programs, or managing resource allocation.
• Preferred: Over 5 years of progressive experience in product operations, digital product management, product enablement, digital transformation, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of product management practices, including product vision, strategy, roadmaps, OKRs, discovery, prioritization, product charters, stakeholder alignment, and value measurement.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts into clear, practical guidance, templates, training materials, and reusable tools.
• Experience in creating playbooks, standards, frameworks, self-service guides, examples, training materials, or workshops.
• Strong facilitation skills for conducting training sessions, workshops, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience collaborating with product managers, business stakeholders, technology leaders, agile teams, and enablement partners.
• Attention to detail, content organization, version control, and knowledge management.
• Ability to integrate feedback, field insights, and measurement data to enhance materials.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments, establishing new standards, and supporting teams in adopting innovative working methods.
• Experience in healthcare, biotechnology, regulated industries, high-tech, digital, consulting, or product-led organizations is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI-native product development, generative AI processes, responsible AI principles, and the role of AI in product management is preferred.
