Senior Digital Health Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct intricate Healthcare IT implementation projects and programs throughout the stages of planning, initiation, analysis, development, configuration, integration, testing, training, deployment, go-live, and project closure.

• Perform Implementation Planning Studies with clients to determine scope, delivery approach, and implementation strategy.

• Create and manage comprehensive delivery plans and baseline schedules in alignment with the Dedalus Work Breakdown Structure.

• Take responsibility for the financial performance of projects, including monitoring actuals against the budget and managing the utilization of professional services.

• Handle project scope, risks, issues, and change control in accordance with contractual obligations and client expectations.

• Lead structured workshops and decision-making forums with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders.

• Ensure effective program governance along with internal and external project status reporting.

• Coordinate integration tasks, data migration strategies, and deployment preparedness across delivery workstreams.

• Execute large-scale digital health transformation initiatives throughout Australia and New Zealand.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Health Informatics, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project or program delivery.

• Proven success in delivering large-scale enterprise software implementations.

• Experience in leading complex healthcare IT or digital transformation initiatives.

• Strong background in collaborating with clinical and operational healthcare stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary delivery teams.

• Experience in managing extensive program schedules, dependencies, and governance frameworks.

• Capability to work effectively in complex and ambiguous delivery environments.

• PRINCE2, PMBOK, MSP, or equivalent project management certification is desirable.

• Experience in delivering programs using structured or hybrid delivery models is preferred.

• Advanced proficiency in using MS Project, Excel, Jira, Confluence, or similar tools is desirable.
