This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Administer and support the enterprise DevOps Platform, which includes GitHub Enterprise Cloud, GitHub Copilot, GitHub Actions or Harness CI/CD, and JFrog Artifactory or Harness Artifact Registry.
• Establish, implement, and enhance enterprise standards for repositories, CI/CD workflows, artifact management, access controls, and governance of the platform.
• Assist with branching strategies, repository standards, branch protection rules, and governance of pull requests.
• Collaborate with application teams to onboard repositories, pipelines, automation patterns, and tools aimed at boosting developer productivity.
• Design and maintain reusable templates for workflows and pipelines.
• Support secure software delivery practices, including secrets management, audit logging, and access reviews.
• Monitor platform usage, reliability, and performance; lead troubleshooting, incident response, root cause analysis, and initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain automation using technologies such as YAML, PowerShell, Bash, Python, Terraform, Bicep, or similar tools.
• Create documentation, onboarding materials, operational runbooks, and guides for self-service.
• Work collaboratively with application, infrastructure, security, and compliance teams.
• Participate in an on-call rotation.
• Act as a technical owner and trusted partner in promoting modern software delivery practices at an enterprise level.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps Platform engineering, site reliability engineering, systems engineering, or a related technology role.
• Proven experience in supporting enterprise-scale engineering platforms or shared developer services.
• Familiarity with GitHub Enterprise Cloud, Azure DevOps, or similar source control and collaboration platforms.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts, with hands-on experience in creating or supporting automation for build, test, validation, release, or deployment processes.
• Experience with automation platforms such as GitHub Actions, Harness CI/CD, Azure DevOps Pipelines, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Working knowledge of artifact repositories or package management platforms like JFrog Artifactory, Harness Artifact Registry, GitHub Packages, or Azure Container Registry.
• Proficient in YAML, PowerShell, Bash, Python, Terraform, Bicep, or comparable technologies.
• A good understanding of identity and access management, role-based access control, single sign-on, service accounts, and principles of least-privilege access.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent skills in collaboration, documentation, mentoring, and customer service.
• Experience in regulated industries, familiarity with SOC 1/SOC 2, support for GitHub Copilot, and balancing productivity with security are preferred.
