Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Oversee and maintain Linux servers and systems.

• Execute infrastructure maintenance duties.

• Design scalable and dependable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Develop a cloud platform that is ideal for hosting software services.

• Automate the provisioning of infrastructure.

• Ensure seamless operation of the infrastructure.

• Engage in emergency response activities for infrastructure outages.

• Implement security hardening measures for PCI-DSS compliance.

• Enhance observability and monitoring capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid understanding and practical experience in DevOps methodologies.

• Proficient in Linux maintenance, focusing on upkeep rather than automation or pipeline development.

• Experience with VMware, Citrix, or analogous platforms is highly advantageous.

• Familiarity with Linux systems.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes.

• Understanding of GCP, including GKE, Pub/Sub, Cloud PostgreSQL, and Spanner.

• Familiarity with tools such as Datadog, GitLab, Cloudflare, Elasticsearch, Terragrunt, Istio, Vault, ArgoCD, Helm, and Go.
