Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bolivia.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize scalable, secure, and reliable AWS infrastructure.

• Develop and manage infrastructure provisioning and automation using Terraform.

• Deploy, configure, and maintain containerized applications and Kubernetes clusters utilizing Amazon EKS.

• Implement and oversee GitOps deployment workflows with ArgoCD.

• Design, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines.

• Implement solutions for monitoring, logging, and observability using Grafana and OpenSearch.

• Deploy, configure, monitor, and optimize relational databases with Amazon RDS, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.

• Collaborate with developers, technical leads, and engineering teams.

• Contribute to the design of infrastructure architecture, conduct code reviews, and assist in estimation and planning.

• Troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and production, implementing sustainable solutions.

• Apply best practices for security, availability, scalability, and disaster recovery.

• Write maintainable, reusable, and well-documented infrastructure configurations and automation scripts.

• Identify opportunities for enhancing system performance, reliability, automation, and cloud cost efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior-level professional experience in DevOps engineering, cloud infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure architecture.

• Proficient in Terraform.

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS.

• Experience in implementing and managing GitOps workflows using ArgoCD.

• Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

• Hands-on experience with OpenSearch.

• Familiarity with Grafana.

• Strong background with Amazon RDS and relational database administration, especially PostgreSQL and MySQL.

• Solid understanding of networking, security, IAM, load balancing, and cloud infrastructure best practices.

• Proficient in Linux administration and scripting in Bash, Python, or similar languages.

• Experience with Docker and containerized application environments.

• Experience in implementing infrastructure monitoring, incident response, and troubleshooting processes.

• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.

• Experience applying best practices in infrastructure automation, security, and reliability.

• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, and take ownership of assigned deliverables.

• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted software development and infrastructure automation tools.
