Senior Developer – Telecom Mobile Test Probes

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create next-generation mobile testing probes for 4G, 5G, and IoT applications.

• Emulate mobile users utilizing voice, SMS, and data services.

• Develop applications that assist mobile operator clients in validating and enhancing mobile service performance.

• Primarily code in C and C++ on a Linux platform.

• Assume responsibility for delivering customer value through advanced telecom testing solutions.

• Collaborate as part of a small, agile development team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software development, ideally within the telecom sector.

• Strong expertise in C++, data structures, and multi-threaded programming.

• Knowledge of Linux systems.

• Comprehensive understanding of the Radio Access Network (RAN) layer in mobile networks.

• Familiarity with mobile network technologies including 3G, 4G, IMS/VoLTE, 5G, and IoT.

• Awareness of network signaling protocols such as SIP, RRC, and NAS as outlined by 3GPP.

• Aptitude for AI-driven development.

• Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to work independently in a dynamic environment.

• Experience with cellular modems, AT commands, QMI, or modem vendor SDK (a plus).

• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and protocol analyzers like Wireshark and QCAT (a plus).

• Knowledge of LUA, Shell, or Perl (a plus).

• Understanding of eUICC/eSIM and GSMA standards (a plus).

• Experience in Android development (a plus).
