Senior Developer – Digital Health, HL7

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and create new software as well as enhance existing applications.

• Code, perform testing, debug, document, and deploy software applications.

• Carry out business analysis and evaluate new software code within an Agile development setting.

• Maintain and provide support for large and complex platforms or a suite of applications.

• Ensure the successful implementation of system improvements.

• Act as a senior liaison between internal and external technical and non-technical teams.

• Evaluate and consolidate complex user requirements.

• Develop work breakdown structures and implementation strategies that align with development lifecycles and industry best practices.

• Conduct internal reviews of code and other deliverables.

• Perform testing, data validation, and information security assessments.

• Contribute to business, user, and system requirements documentation.

• Analyze requirements, test and integrate application components across various projects, and design scalable, reusable solutions.

• Create and implement secure interfaces for accessing both internal and external data sources.

• Provide advanced technical assistance for intricate platforms, applications, and interfaces.

• Develop and sustain a repository of issues and their corresponding solutions.

• Maintain support documentation and complete the necessary documentation for support tickets.

• Engage in short-term planning and contribute to long-term strategic planning.

• Mentor fellow developers.

• Conduct interviews for potential resources.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in a related job discipline.

• More than 2 years of experience in HL7 interface message development and message queuing.

• Preferred experience with Mirth Interface Engine.

• Work visa sponsorship is not available.
