Senior Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain a secure and scalable cloud-based integration layer.

• Create and implement RESTful APIs leveraging Amazon API Gateway, AWS Lambda, and EC2.

• Construct and oversee cloud-native data solutions utilizing Amazon RDS.

• Develop event-driven architectures using Amazon S3, SQS, and SNS.

• Apply security best practices, including IAM roles and policies, VPC configurations, encryption, logging, and audit controls.

• Ensure adherence to ATO requirements.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external system owners to define integration patterns, API contracts, and deployment strategies.

• Automate infrastructure deployment using CloudFormation or Terraform.

• Monitor system performance while optimizing cost, scalability, and availability.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.

• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and governance standards.

• Facilitate real-time and event-driven data exchange across enterprise systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of software development experience, with a strong emphasis on AWS.

• Public Trust clearance is required.

• Hands-on expertise with Amazon API Gateway, AWS Lambda, and Amazon EC2.

• Experience with Amazon RDS (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle).

• Familiarity with Amazon S3, SQS, and SNS.

• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture and integration patterns.

• Proven experience in implementing secure and compliant systems.

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code.

• Solid understanding of networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets, and security groups.

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch.

• Knowledge of IAM roles and policies, data encryption, logging, and audit controls.

• Understanding of ATO requirements.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external system owners.

• Capability to provide technical leadership and mentorship.

• Ability to align with enterprise architecture and governance standards.
