Senior Developer Advocate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Establish and nurture relationships with founding engineers and technical leaders at startups in the San Francisco Bay Area.

• Act as the primary point of contact for inquiries and support from startups.

• Serve as a bridge between the startup ecosystem and Neo4j.

• Generate technical content such as blog posts, tutorials, videos, and documentation.

• Create code samples, demos, and software development kits (SDKs).

• Deliver technical presentations, webinars, and workshops at developer events.

• Promote Neo4j products and technologies within the developer community.

• Collect developer feedback and share insights with product and engineering teams.

• Work together with product management to ensure product development aligns with developer requirements.

• Establish and oversee developer forums, communities, and user groups.

• Plan and engage in developer events, meetups, and hackathons.

• Encourage collaboration and support within the developer community.

• Create and provide educational resources, training materials, and documentation.

• Offer guidance and best practices to developers.

• Conduct technical workshops and training sessions.

• Monitor developer engagement and assess advocacy impact using data and analytics.

• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations for ongoing improvement.

• Compile regular reports on the performance of the developer community.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in developer advocacy, developer relations, or a similar technical position.

• Extensive technical knowledge and expertise in relevant technologies.

• Outstanding public speaking, presentation, and communication abilities.

• Strong skills in content creation, including writing, video production, and code samples.

• Excellent project management and organizational capabilities.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a knack for community building.

• A genuine passion for technology and the cultivation of a vibrant developer community.
