Senior Delivery Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Act as a servant-leader for Backend, Frontend, and QA/AQA teams, ensuring the effective implementation of Agile principles and Scrum best practices.

• Mentor and coach team members to promote continuous improvement and achieve high performance.

• Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

• Identify and eliminate impediments.

• Oversee the complete delivery process for features and initiatives aligned with an approved roadmap.

• Collaborate with the Product Owner and Engineering Leads to outline feature delivery plans, including scope, dependencies, and risk evaluation.

• Monitor progress of feature delivery throughout sprints.

• Manage risks and dependencies across various teams.

• Address stakeholder expectations, concerns, and feedback loops.

• Lead the resolution of issues during sprints.

• Assess and enhance delivery frameworks and Agile workflows.

• Maintain documentation related to delivery processes, agreements, and best practices.

• Drive automation and process enhancements.

• Track quality-related issues and trends in collaboration with QA Leads.

• Ensure effective collaboration across teams.

• Conduct soft skills evaluations and risk assessments during interviews.

• Participate in performance reviews and probation assessments.

• Optimize team composition and manage workload effectively.

• Monitor individual and team performance, hold regular 1:1 meetings, and implement performance improvement plans as necessary.

• Manage vacation and absence planning.

• Provide weekly updates on progress, risks, blockers, and key metrics.

• Deliver sprint reports that include issue tracking, root cause analysis, and actions for improvement.

• Prepare monthly capacity allocation reports detailing feature costs and resource distribution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a Project/Delivery Manager in the IT sector across various organizations.

• Proven track record of managing multiple teams comprising 10 or more members.

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution abilities.

• Flexibility in adapting to changing priorities and the capability to effectively handle uncertainty.

• Expertise in Jira (Plans, eazyBI, BigPicture) and Confluence.

• Proficient in English at a B2+ level.

• Strong command of the Russian language.

• Experience in the Gambling industry is a plus.

• Background in product-oriented companies is desirable.

• Previous experience in software development is advantageous.

• Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Scrum Master (CSM), or equivalent Agile certifications is beneficial.
