Senior Default Loan Servicing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Perform preliminary and final reconciliations for loan balance loss analysis at the time of loan liquidation.

• Reconcile REO and received claim funds with outstanding loan balances in accordance with investor guidelines.

• Conduct balance reconciliation between outstanding balances and the REO/claim funds received.

• Complete all loss analysis tasks within the stipulated Service Level Agreement (SLA).

• Refer files for any supplemental claims as necessary.

• Serve as a team resource and subject matter expert.

• Address client inquiries related to loss analysis activities.

• Execute default step codes and associated tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.

• At least 10 years of direct experience in Loss Analysis.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience with corporate advances.

• Over 10 years of experience in a mortgage default setting.

• Experience in loss analysis or corporate advances is essential.

• Strong understanding of corporate advances, escrow, and principal and interest transactions.

• Capability to comprehend and implement policies and procedures effectively.

• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to comply with strict guidelines and processes.

• Familiarity with fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures related to investor default guidelines.

• Knowledge of mortgage liquidation processes is required.

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience with GSE and Government processes is essential.

• Proficiency in MSP and LoanSphere is a requirement.

• Basic knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel, Internet, and Microsoft Outlook is preferred.

• College education is preferred but not mandatory.
