This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Investigate current Advanced Analytics subjects, encompassing the modern data stack, unified data platforms, Advanced Analytics algorithms, and Data Mesh.

• Evaluate the associated technology tools and methodologies.

• Provide a detailed use case and compose a summary article for internal dissemination and/or publication through Wavestone’s channels.

• Engage actively in client projects as part of project teams.

• Examine business challenges and assist in identifying relevant performance indicators.

• Aid in the implementation of robust analytics solutions.

• Cultivate expertise in the BI and Analytics solutions and platforms available in the market.

• Participate in the firm’s internal initiatives.

• Help shape and enhance the Data, Analytics & AI offering.

• Produce thought leadership content, including articles and presentations.

• Take part in recruitment, university relations, and training efforts.

• Create technical demonstrators and assess new Data & Analytics solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an engineering school (generalist or specializing in Information Systems/Data) or a business school with a focus on Data & Analytics.

• Hybrid profile, comfortable with technical subjects and possessing significant business insight.

• Genuine interest in grasping business challenges and converting requirements into tangible data solutions.

• Curiosity, adaptability, and a results-driven mindset.

• Enthusiasm for consulting environments.

• Eagerness to enhance skills in data preparation, transformation, BI, Advanced Analytics, and data science.

• Proficient in SQL and Power BI.

• Familiarity with GCP BigQuery, Databricks, or Snowflake, as per the engagement requirements.

• Knowledge of dbt, LookML, and/or data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker is advantageous.

• Analytical mindset, curiosity, and the ability to rapidly familiarize oneself with new topics.

• Customer-oriented, with exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong service mindset.

• A passion for overcoming challenges and achieving outcomes.
