📋 Description

• Collaborate with the architecture team to establish the structure for information storage; assess environment capacity and develop comprehensive work plans aimed at enhancing performance and availability.

• Formulate and execute operational and security protocols for managing database systems.

• Install, tailor, and sustain intricate database software and associated tools.

• Oversee the computing environment, detect failures, and resolve database-related challenges.

• Assess and suggest innovative database technologies based on organizational requirements and cost-benefit analysis.

• Create detailed project work plans that consider risks, internal guidelines, resources, materials, quality, and compliance.

• Conduct capacity planning for database environments.

• Administer software licenses, ensuring environmental compliance, and propose enhancements or new acquisitions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a similar discipline.

• Significant experience as a database administrator for on-premises or low-platform settings operating on Windows and Linux, especially SQL Server and PostgreSQL.

• Proven experience in monitoring environments and managing capacity.

• Familiarity with routine automation processes.

• Capability to interpret metrics from environment monitoring.

• Experience with CDC-based replication tools is preferred.

• Advanced studies and certifications or courses in PostgreSQL and SQL Server are preferred.
