This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, implement, oversee, and enhance databases that support all products across three divisions.
• Plan and manage backup strategies, disaster recovery protocols, and logical storage frameworks for production databases.
• Monitor database health, security, and performance while proactively tuning systems.
• Establish uniform database standards, configuration practices, and documentation across all divisions.
• Oversee patch management, capacity planning, and access control measures.
• Collaborate with divisional engineering teams to minimize database troubleshooting time.
• Assume responsibility for the design, security, and performance of databases across 26 products.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of four years of experience in administering production databases, including on-call support duties.
• Practical experience with MySQL, Postgres, or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience managing multiple relational database platforms is advantageous.
• Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, are a plus.
• Capability to work remotely within the US.
