Senior Database Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee, secure, and enhance PostgreSQL database instances hosted in cloud environments.

• Guarantee high availability, robust security measures, dependable performance, and adherence to enterprise compliance standards.

• Work in partnership with cloud engineering, application development, cybersecurity, and DevOps teams.

• Transition an Access database to PostgreSQL.

• Establish new databases as required.

• Sustain scalable, resilient, and well-regulated data platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies.

• Skilled in Triggers & Stored Procedures.

• Expertise in PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

• Knowledge of Infrastructure As Code (IaC).

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Possess Public Trust clearance level.

• Authorized to work in the United States without the necessity for current or future visa sponsorship.
