This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead data science initiatives that enhance profitability, efficiency, and customer experience.
• Create advanced analytics frameworks to support informed decision-making.
• Predict the results of pricing and promotional strategies using AI, deep learning, and forecasting methods.
• Oversee data science projects while collaborating with project and product managers.
• Manage task prioritization, balance workloads, and mentor fellow data scientists.
• Communicate insights and recommendations to leadership and business partners.
• Articulate the advantages and implications of proposed solutions.
• Contribute to staffing assessments and take part in recruitment and hiring processes.
• Design and build algorithms and models leveraging large datasets.
• Choose, apply, and interpret advanced analytical techniques.
• Compile project reports, updates, and presentations.
• Establish project goals in collaboration with project teams and business partners.
• Guide task prioritization and ensure quality standards are met.
• Mentor and coach junior team members.
• Work together on workload management and resource allocation.
• Educate both technical and non-technical business partners on advanced analytics concepts.
• Pursue new business opportunities for data science initiatives.
• Investigate advancements in data science, technical competencies, and data sources.
• Create replicable solutions, documentation, process flowcharts, and reusable algorithms.
• Establish best practices and a vision for data analysis and model production.
• Document code that has been developed.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification in a related discipline, or an equivalent educational background.
• Expertise in time series forecasting and deep learning methodologies.
• Preferred: Over 6 years of experience in business intelligence and analytics.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficient in a modern scripting language, preferably Python.
• Skilled in querying data, ideally using Google BigQuery or SQL.
• Proficient in data visualization tools, preferably Tableau.
• Mastery of statistical approaches for deriving business insights.
• Proven capability in predictive modeling, data mining, and data analysis.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
