📋 Description

• Develop data, analytics, and AI solutions that support SIOP transformation and enhance business outcomes in inventory and customer service.

• Create machine learning, statistical, forecasting, and time-series models to address operational and business challenges.

• Assist with inventory optimization, demand forecasting, clear-to-build analytics, on-time delivery, production planning, operational efficiency, and cost reduction.

• Conduct exploratory analysis, feature engineering, model selection, validation, optimization, deployment, and performance monitoring.

• Build predictive, prescriptive, generative AI, and large language model solutions that deliver measurable business value.

• Independently develop comprehensive data science products from problem identification and data preparation through to modeling, application development, deployment, and user adoption.

• Create analytical datasets and transformation workflows using Python and SQL.

• Clean, transform, and integrate extensive datasets across various enterprise systems.

• Design dashboards, analytical applications, APIs, and decision-support tools.

• Develop production-quality solutions that include testing, version control, monitoring, documentation, and maintainability.

• Utilize AWS, Snowflake, Spark, S3, and other relevant cloud and data technologies.

• Design data science solutions that integrate with data lakes, ETL/ELT systems, streaming data, APIs, and cloud-native data platforms.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and business stakeholders.

• Partner with cross-functional leaders to define problems and achieve measurable improvements in inventory, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency.

• Ensure accurate and reliable production analytics assets while managing analytics operations.

• Enhance data quality and integrity through ongoing improvement frameworks.

• Convert analytical findings into actionable recommendations and promote adoption across the organization.

• Travel 10–20%, with potential for travel between locations or suppliers up to 25%.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Over 4 years of experience in a data science role, addressing complex business issues and independently developing effective solutions that enhance outcomes.

• More than 4 years of practical experience using SQL and Python for data analysis, transformation, and analytical solution development.

• At least 4 years of experience in developing machine learning, demand forecasting, or time-series models.

• Must have authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship currently or in the future.

• Must be capable of performing work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

• Proficient in SQL, Python, machine learning modeling, and time-series analytics.

• Experience in independently developing and deploying machine learning, statistical, or time-series forecasting models.

• Familiarity with working on large, complex, and imperfect datasets.

• Experience in designing and implementing data models and ETL/ELT pipelines in modern cloud data environments like Snowflake, AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Proven track record in developing production-quality analytical or machine learning solutions using testing, version control, CI/CD, monitoring, and documentation.

• Experience with AI-assisted product development and AI tools.

• Knowledge of supply chain analytics including demand forecasting, demand sensing, inventory management, and clear-to-build reporting.

• Background in aerospace and/or manufacturing sectors.

• Familiarity with ERP systems and associated purchase order, production order, and inventory data.

• Ability to navigate a manufacturing plant environment while utilizing Personal Protective Equipment.

• Capability to frequently sit, stand, and walk.

• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 15 pounds.

• Capacity to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods.

• Willingness to travel between locations or to suppliers.
