Data Scientist, GenAI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Create customized AI/ML solutions tailored to client needs

• Address the distinctive challenges posed by AI-driven software in collaboration with a diverse team

• Engage in the design and development of AI solutions for complex projects

• Construct production-ready ML/AI solutions by applying software engineering and ML/AI principles

• Streamline MLOps deployment and monitoring processes for models and infrastructure

• Conduct data analysis, including data cleansing and variable transformation

• Design and train ML/AI models

• Deploy AI models into production by optimizing, tuning, and testing them for effective deployment

• Collaborate within agile, multidisciplinary teams while taking complete ownership of projects

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in AI / Machine Learning / Computer Science

• Proven experience in developing an “end-to-end software product” with AI or Machine Learning components

• Familiarity with Azure or other cloud-based solutions

• Proficient in Python with a solid understanding of SQL

• Experience in incorporating testing as a vital aspect of development (unit, integration, etc.)

• Knowledge in NLP and Computer Vision

• Practical experience throughout the entire ML lifecycle, from development to production deployment, including the design and construction of scalable ML pipelines (MLOps experience is highly valued by the team)

• Familiar with GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding tools in actual development workflows

• A strong desire to learn and the capability to adapt quickly

• Excellent team player mentality

• Fluent in Spanish (mandatory)

• Proficient in English (for an international environment)

• Experience with Big Data tools and cloud platforms, particularly Azure

• Knowledge of RESTful API development and DevOps practices (Docker, CI/CD)

• Understanding of recommendation systems, unsupervised learning, and ranking models

• Familiarity with cognitive services and Agentic AI

• Knowledge of TensorFlow Lite, TensorFlow Serving, gRPC, and unit testing

• Strong skills in object-oriented programming
