This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Reconcile regulated data streams from laboratories for clients.
• Address omissions, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies found in client data streams.
• Assess laboratory data files against specified transfer requirements.
• Generate test laboratory data for transfer files.
• Develop low-complexity laboratory data transfer specifications and communicate any changes to clients.
• Propose and enhance real-time validity checks within the LabConnect central laboratory information management system.
• Maintain data transfer specifications as instructed by the study Data Manager.
• Design systems to ensure projects align with strategic objectives.
• Initiate and execute scheduled or requested data transfers to clients or designated recipients.
• Confirm that data transmissions adhere to file structure, format, layout, and transfer specifications.
• Ensure consistency in analyte reference ranges, decimal precision, units of measurement, and correlation factors.
• Develop, implement, and validate laboratory unit conversion tables.
• Address client inquiries regarding clinical data streams and document the outcomes in client databases.
• Collaborate with internal teams and Investigator Support Services to resolve inquiries and correct errors.
• Maintain study timelines in accordance with contracted agreements and client communications.
• Perform routine tasks under the guidance of the group manager.
• An associate’s degree or university program certificate in a biologic science concentration is preferred.
• Four to six years of experience in the clinical trial industry is strongly preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience will be evaluated.
• Laboratory experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with clinical trial protocol development and FDA 21CRF11/GCP is strongly preferred.
• Certification as an ASCP Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician is preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to follow established timelines, processes, and procedures.
• Strong planning and problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Skills in organization, time management, communication, multitasking, interpersonal relations, and active listening.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing environments and requirements.
• Capability to comprehend verbal instructions and translate client needs to team members.
• Ability to make prompt, well-considered decisions.
• Skills in customer service and client relationship management.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods while working at a desk and using a computer.
• Proficiency in effective communication via phone, video, and email.
• Capability to use hands and fingers for operating a computer and other office equipment.
