Senior Data Scientist, Medical Analytics, Care Gaps, Customer Segmentation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and execute advanced analytics for care gaps while segmenting HCPs and KOLs utilizing real-world data sources.

• Assist the Care Gaps & Segmentation Team Leader in both strategic and tactical planning for medical analyses.

• Work in tandem with the Team Leader to effectively communicate insights derived from analyses.

• Offer mentorship and coaching to colleagues in Data Science and Data Engineering.

• Formulate and share best practices in analytics specific to care gap evaluations and HCP segmentation.

• Recognize future opportunities related to data inputs, innovative analytical tools, and initiatives for capability building.

• Prepare and sustain datasets to meet ongoing high-complexity analytical requirements alongside data engineers.

• Identify data issues and provide recommendations for necessary solutions.

• Manage comprehensive integrated care gap analyses, which include strategic planning, identifying data inputs, visualization, and generating insights.

• Conduct asset-specific care gap analyses employing predictive models, machine learning, probabilistic causal models, and unsupervised algorithms.

• Develop asset-specific HCP segments, maps, and priorities across various dimensions to inform channel activation, content creation, and MSL activities in Anchor countries.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Sciences, Computer Sciences, Statistics, Clinical Informatics, or a related field, with an advanced qualification in Data Science.

• Relevant certification and/or professional experience in data engineering.

• 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree; 7+ years with a Master’s degree; 5+ years with a PhD.

• Experience in data sciences, particularly within the healthcare sector.

• Capability to independently spearhead projects and foster professional development for colleagues.

• Proven effectiveness in a cross-functional business environment.

• Established influencing skills.

• Strong interpersonal abilities.

• Proficient in cross-cultural and regional partnerships.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical medicine, including clinical trial design, GCP, data interpretation, drug development, regulatory and promotional guidelines, legal and compliance, issue management, and business development opportunity assessments.

• Ability to drive transformational change, lead teams, engage diverse stakeholders, and comprehend technology applications in the Life Sciences sector.
