Senior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Examine extensive datasets to distinguish between authentic and fraudulent traffic

• Create and execute detection rules and models to enhance the accuracy and effectiveness of security products

• Optimize procedures for gathering, manipulating, presenting, and analyzing large datasets in a production-ready setting

• Resolve production issues within a highly distributed environment

• Evaluate data, tackle customer challenges, and promote product enhancements

• Work collaboratively across teams to implement solutions, boost detection accuracy, and deliver strategic and performance insights

⛳️ Requirements

• 8 years of pertinent experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification

• Proficient in handling large datasets using SQL/Spark and Python

• Strong grasp of probability, statistics, and machine learning algorithms/techniques

• Outstanding problem-solving abilities

• Hands-on knowledge of application security products such as bot or fraud detection

• Excellent communication and organizational capabilities

• Ability to convey technical information in a clear and comprehensible manner

• Familiarity with Internet protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, and TLS/SSL
