Data Science Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist with special projects, initiatives, and specific tasks as assigned.

• Support data science, machine learning, and AI initiatives utilizing Python and real-world healthcare datasets.

• Conduct exploratory data analysis, model development, and experimentation.

• Investigate emerging AI technologies such as LLMs, small language models, RAG, fine-tuning, and agentic AI.

• Assess potential AI applications for healthcare and business challenges.

• Create and evaluate machine learning, forecasting, computer vision, NLP, and other analytical solutions.

• Utilize coding and analytical skills for independent, project-based tasks.

• Collaborate with seasoned data scientists while exploring innovative approaches and technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• Must be a current Rising Junior or Senior in an accredited degree program or have graduated within the last 6 months.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

• Ability to function independently as well as part of a team.

• Solid listening and critical thinking skills.

• Reliable, adaptable, and capable of handling confidential information.

• Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
