Senior Clinical Data Scientist – R Shiny

📋 Description

• Analyze clinical trial data and assist in the statistical analysis process to ensure the delivery of high-quality results.

• Convert intricate clinical and real-world data into user-friendly applications and analytical solutions.

• Design and develop R Shiny applications, dashboards, and visualizations for monitoring clinical studies, reviewing data, conducting safety analyses, and generating evidence.

• Utilize R and advanced statistical methods to transform complex datasets into valuable insights.

• Create scalable, modular, and well-documented solutions.

• Continuously enhance performance, usability, and user experience.

• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to adhere to CDISC standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards.

• Share expertise in R and R Shiny, contribute to best practices and automation initiatives, and support the development of colleagues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience in statistical programming, clinical data analysis, Real World Evidence/HTA, Medical Affairs, or evidence generation, preferably within a pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO environment.

• Strong practical experience with R and R Shiny, including application development, interactive dashboards, visualizations, and tools like ggplot2 or Plotly.

• Solid understanding of the broader R ecosystem, which may encompass R packages, Git, CRAN, data wrangling, and statistical methodologies.

• Experience in working with clinical or healthcare data.

• Familiarity with CDISC standards such as SDTM and ADaM, TLFs, or Phase IIIb/IV clinical trials is particularly advantageous.

• A degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
